I am who I am
Laws make us who we are
Ravaged by time and deeds.
I cannot rest from this journey
though Greatly, have I suffered.
Much have I seen and known
I am a part of all that I have met.
How dull it is to pause, to make an end,
Little remains; but time is cherished
From silence, to something more,
bringing of new things; dim as it is
this gray spirit still has a yearning in desire
To follow knowledge wherever it leads.
Some of my work will bear a noble note,
it is never too late to seek new things.
To travel beyond the sunset,
Of all the stars, until I die.
It may be very well that
I shall touch the Happy time …again.
And yet my friend who for this journey I have known
much is taken, much remains ;
Holding on to our heroic heart,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to learn, to cherish , and not to fail.
