Synod 2008
In our 2007 planning meeting the goal was to the complete succession of the ACW. This was
not a accomplished, God willing we shall complete this task in our Synod this year.
Agenda
Registrations: to be completed by February 21st. If you are interested in attending our Synod,
please e-mail us at acwdiocese97@aol.com and we shall send you information.
In the past, we have scheduled Agendas in our Synod. However, while most presentations were
well prepared, they did nothing to enhance the future of the church. Our agenda this year is an
open door, to which we shall invite all who wish to share their thoughts and suggestions will be
welcomed to do so. Further, fellowship of members of the ACW will be a focus of this Synod.
Hospitality
The ACW is proud of its hospitality when visits are made to our area. As always, ground
transportation to and from airport and meals will be provided for all of our guests. (excluding
breakfasts)

Friday, February 22nd
6:30 PM. The Consecration of Bishop -Elect EthelBert Lowe, Primate Christopher Atherley,
Preacher.
Saturday, February 24th
8:30 A.M.: Morning Prayer, Speaker Chancellor Rev Donald Lock
9:15 A.M.: Address from visiting Bishop on the State of the Continuum
10: A.M.: Address of The Proper Use of Anglican Worship and the Commitment to It
11: A.M.: Overall General Discussion
Noon: Lunch

1:00 P.M.: Tributes to Those Who Have Gone Home to Rest Since Synod, 2006
1:30 P.M: Overall General Discussion CONTINUED

8:00 A.M.: Ordinations and Appointments Installations Preacher -Visiting Bishop
