The Great News of Anglican Church Worldwide of Sudan

For us who received such moving stories here, attribute them to be great news. The
ACWS was known to have no place in Churches foundation that is by our counterpart
denominations on the basis of historical background but this year many who claimed
the authentic and best history to tell about their beginning and much more have also
realized that ACWS is part of particular order elsewhere and hence, many could join
without hindrances of whatsoever the fear the perceived before rooting the church
origin. It was taken positive decided to join ACW. Today our outlook is very clear
respected, accepted, admired, endorsed to be real Church of Christ like any other bodies.
With all these so far, we have received great leaders of the Church from many
denominations across the country. These include: Bishop David Monychol Dau
He reported himself with 5 priests. The diocese is Khorfulu is situated in north of Duk
diocese in Jongulei state of South Sudan. This one bishop has great story to tell as we
shall picture him in next items through interview to be done by communication
department. The number of bishops currently in ACWS is mounted to 5 bishops all
together. This diocese of Khorfulu is young and sound to stand with us as long as God
want Christian all over the world to remain firm in their faith. The diocese has also
forwarded their request to the Archbishop to see them and bring a long with bibles,
prayer books and hymn books if possible.A piece of Land in Juba

We are happy to acquire a land in the capital of Southern Sudan. This comes a result of
long waiting of Archbishop John Thon who made an effort of pleading to the land
commission to give him for propagating the gospel in cosmopolitan town.

One Rural Dean John Reeth Riek
The rural dean after demanding preaching in our church he came with many followers
in which he decided to join us in simple note that Christ is not poor and weak to be
mocked. The man walked out of Sunday service with youth supporters of which about
52 people accorded company and made their mind to remain with in ACWS. There are
now registered members. It brought us to the point that this year is a year of growth and
development both in number and quality.

Pastoral Visitation
Planning are under for pastoral visitation to Uganda and Southern Sudan that is Yiei
and Juba by November this year before Christmas to pave way for major events like
Christmas and new year celebration. We are requesting our brothers and sisters internal
and external to pray for its success.

Appreciations
I have received phone conversation from Australia asking us our progress. It was alleged
them there is tremendous growth with help of Archbishop Hartley. In the light of that
they convey through me their appreciation to the most Rev Hartley to continue with
same spirit.

Thanks
