Walking In Summer
During the summer months, we find many things to do. Vacation to the beach, a visit to Grandma's,
look up old friends and attend games of your favorite sport. While all of this is good, the one thing
we must not ignore is our relationship with God.

This summer we can put that in focus on your weekly agenda, by attending church wherever you
are. If you are far away from your church, attend another of your faith.  If n
ot, one around the corner.

As the Psalmist David said, "God is our refuge and strength." No mater what the circumstances, He
will always provide for us. Let us then this summer, render to Him our loyalty of love and attend
church regularly amidst your summer travels.

In the course of the week you have:
168 hours  (Giving God one or two is a good choice.)

24 half hours (Call a friend or family member whom you have not spoken to for a while, have a chat.)

96, 15 minutes (Take time for yourself and reflect.)

288, 5 minutes (Spend one fraction of this in prayer daily, you will find it brings peace, guidance and
joy to the heart.)

Let Us Pray

O LORD, our heavenly Father, Almighty and everlasting God, who hast safely brought us to the
beginning of this day; Defend us in the same with thy mighty power; and grant that this day we fall
into no sin, neither run into any kind of danger; but that all our doings, being ordered by thy
governance, may be righteous in thy sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

With the Psalmist we SAY and SING
Psalm 122. Lætatus sum

I WAS glad when they said unto me, *
We will go into the house of the LORD.
Our feet shall stand in thy gates, * O Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is built as a city * that is at unity in itself.
For thither the tribes go up, even the tribes of the LORD, *
to testify unto Israel, to give thanks unto the Name of the LORD.
For there is the seat of judgment, * even the seat of the house of David.
O pray for the peace of Jerusalem; * they shall prosper that love thee.
Peace be within thy walls, * and plenteousness within thy palaces.
For my brethren and companions' sakes, * I will wish thee prosperity.
Yea, because of the house of the LORD our God, * I will seek to do thee good.

Glory be to the father and to the son
And to the holy ghost
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
world without end. Amen

In all you do, enjoy the summer, drive safely and let not the heat overcome you.
As always, WATCH HOW YOU GO.
