| Reaching out to the World and…. Beyond Under the Protection of the Cross |
Since 2006, the ACW has been in partnership in assisting, relocating and advising the Lost
Boys of Sudan. (LBOS) We have some 300 of these young men on the rolls of the ACW, from
various parts of the country. But now we invite you to help support their continued efforts as
they adjust to life in a new country.
Like all who immigrate to the USA for the LBOS a period of adjustment is necessary to ensure
that their new lives carry a measure of understanding to their adopted land. The ACW will
work in partnership with all, including other LBOS Orginizations in this effort. Please support
any LBOS that is within your area, it is a collective effort of faith and assistance, and truly
appreciated.
Centers are now being planned by the ACW for St Joseph, Missouri and Belleville, Illinois
within the coming months. Our ACW/LBOS website will be active after our Annual Synod,
February 19-21, 2010 in Belleville, Illinois.
